dear teachers and schoolmates, Good morning. Today, our topic is “being honest and calm in the examination”.
How time flies. The final examination is around the corner. Every effort will pay off and deserve the best harvest. We know that the final examination is the moment that measures our success, which is also a time of happiness and facing challenges.
During the last five days, we are supposed to be careful with all the review lessons and lay a solid foundation for the subjects. Also, we are expected to treat the lesson with great efforts and solve all the problems that we may encounter. Besides, we must take all knowledge seriously, comprehend it and make up what we have missed. Being confident and well-prepared, then we are able to face the final examination with calmness.
The final examination is not only the measurement of our academic study, but also a test of our honesty. We all know that honesty is the traditional Chinese virtue and the root of one’s personal growth, which is also seen as one of the basic moralities as citizens. It is our duty to moralities both decent moralities and honesty. Thus, being honest in the examination seems especially important. The followings should be done:
First, we should enhance our personal quality and take a positive attitude to it. That means that we have to be honest in every examination, well- prepared before the examination and calm during the examination. A great grade is gained from diligence rather than from improper ways.
Secondly, everyone should be honest during the examination and honesty should be highly advocated among all the classes, which is supposed to be accomplished via every individual and every moment.
Thirdly, honesty should be the base of our self-development and we have to be strict with ourselves. Erin Kaser has ever said that honesty is the symbol of power, which reveals one’s self-dignity, inside sense of security and self-reverence. Being dishonest in the examination fails to show all those satisfying qualities. Instead, it shows our weaknesses and self-deception. Honesty is the power possessed by all of us and it is a test of our true competence.
As one of the members of Caihe Experimental Middle School, we should also regard honesty as our foundation. Try to be honest with ourselves and follow honesty, which will witness our self-betterment.
So my dear fellows, try to take actions and create a decent and wholesome atmosphere during the examination. Everyone is expected to contribute to it both for ourselves and our school.
In the end, I wish all of us succeed in the examination.
